TERGYS (waTER & enerGY Systems) was founded in September 2017 by a group of friends — experts in water treatment and energy — driven by the desire to develop new solutions addressing the challenges of water access and management, in the face of increasing water scarcity caused by climate change.
Based in Blanquefort (near Bordeaux), our company has an international vocation and deploys its solutions on every continent, adapting them to local contexts and lifestyles.
We share with our customers human values based on respect, listening, loyalty and mutual support.
TERGYS was created to improve people’s quality of life, preserve water resources and protect the environment, both of which are increasingly threatened by climate change — all through an innovative, impact-by-design approach.

Team
The TERGYS operational team is made up of senior experts in water treatment and energy, along with engineers specialized in systemic approaches.
The team relies on partnerships with companies specialized in membrane technologies, renewable energies — including solar, wind, and wave power — as well as battery energy storage, through a key partner: Startec Energy.
The expertise of the operational team is complemented by the skills of TERGYS’ shareholder personalities in various fields: water treatment using membranes and other processes, solar energy, Li-Ion and NiMH battery storage, water resource management, bio-waste management, industrial safety, water analysis, etc.

Hervé Suty
Director of R&I at Veolia. Head of water treatment R&D department at Elf Atochem. Over 30 years’ experience in the water, energy and waste sectors. Graduate of the École Supérieure de Chimie organique et minérale.

Ludovic Renoux
Mascara Development Manager. Market manager at Veolia. Over 25 years’ experience in the water sector Graduate of the University of Limoges (specializing in water treatment)

Cédric Tollu
Project manager at CEA Tech, Saft Batteries, Solairedirect and Alstom Grid. 15 years’ experience in the energy sector
Graduate of Centrale Lyon, specialization at Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany). Master’s degree in innovation management

Sébastien Escourrou
Project engineer specialized in water and energy access solutions with over 5 years’ experience.
Currently on VIE in Colombia, to develop TERGYS’ business activities.
Graduate of Arts et Métiers ParisTech, specializing in industrial engineering at ITBA (Argentina).

Aymen Nahid
Automation and embedded systems engineer, specializing in automation, remote monitoring and energy optimization.
4 years’ experience with Tergys, including field work, commissioning and integration of turnkey solar solutions.

Our Plug & Play water treatment solutions
TERGYS designs and supplies modular, turnkey systems for :
- Production of drinking water,
- Desalination of brackish water or seawater,
- Recycling wastewater.
Our solutions cover flow rates ranging from a few m³/day to 1000 m³/day, available as skids or containerized units, with rapid commissioning.
They can be connected to a power grid and we offer self-sufficient energy solutions based on renewable energy for :
- Areas not covered by an electricity grid,
- The sites are subject to frequent power cuts,
